Vestas Picks Up 102-MW Wind Turbine Order in Argentina

Vestas has secured a 102MW wind turbine order in Argentina as part of its second-quarter intake.

The order is for the company’s V162-6.4MW turbines and includes a 10-year service agreement.

Turbine delivery and commissioning is expected to take place during the fourth quarter of 2026.

The name of the wind farm project has not been disclosed.

The Argentina order comes just days after Vestas revealed it had received two orders for wind turbines in Italy with a total capacity of 127MW.
